Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated 2015 Releases

Over at The Broke and the Bookish, they post a Top Ten Tuesday topic every week. This week: most anticipated releases of 2015. My top 10 are in no order…simply because I couldn’t put them in order. I tried.

QoS

1. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas (The excitement and anticipation is something that I can’t even…) Release date: September 1

winter

2. Winter by Marissa Meyer (I need this book. I need sweet, Lunar Chronicles clarity.) Release date: November 10

sword of summer

3. The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan (AKA the god of mythology. See what I did there? I’m so excited for a new journey with Riordan and the heroes he shares with us. This series centers around Norse mythology, which I don’t know too much about. So I’m looking forward to learning, too!) Release date: October 6

rose society4. The Rose Society by Marie Lu (I really enjoyed Legend and it ended in a way that led straight into this sequel. Ball’s in your court, Lu. Whatcha gonna do?) Release date: October 13

carry on5. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell (This one is particularly interesting to me. I LOVED Fangirl and this is sort of a spinoff from that story. Rowell never disappoints.) Release date: October 6

watchman6. Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee (because LITERARY LEGEND. Also, what is that title? I can’t wait to find out. Literally…I can’t wait. I’m gonna go Google it.) Release date: July 14

kings

7. Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman (I’m all about more fantasy novels. This one looks pretty fantastic.) Release date: August 25

crows

8. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (1. because the blurb says “Game of Thrones meets Oceans Eleven” and 2. because LEIGH BARDUGO.) Release date: September 29

once

9. Once Again: Snow; Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey and Liz Braswell (I love fractured fairy tales and classic retellings. This one book contains 2 new twists on classic stories we love.) Release date: November 17

whole new world

10. A Whole New World by Liz Braswell (This is a new series that twists DISNEY stories, also written by the same author as my #9 book!) Release date: September 1

What new releases are you most looking forward to for this year?

Happy reading! – Caitlyn

  1. I’m also looking forward to Carry On as I really enjoy Rowell’s writing. I’ve recently read “Only ever yours” by Louise O’Neill which i thought was amazing (and a great high school read), so I am so looking forward to her next book as well.
