June Wrap Up//July TBR

In the month of June, I read a total of 6 books, including 2,264 pages. That’s not too shabby in my book. (pun always intended)

A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall (click to read my review)

For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund (click to read my review)

The Crossover by Kwame Alexander (click to read my review)

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (click to read my review)

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead (click to read my review)

All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (click to read my review)

For July, I don’t have too much planned. I’ll be spending the last few days of the month in New York City, but other than that I should have oodles of reading time. However, I don’t want to get too committed, so I’ve only chosen 3 books for July. When I finish these, I’ll probably find something to fit my guilty pleasure bill…something that has vampires or schools for magical children.

My July TBR pile consists of:

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen (young adult fantasy that Emma Watson claims to love…I need no other reason than that)

Off the Page by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer (this story reminds me of the movie Enchanted and also…the pages have colored ink)

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson (young adult contemporary that seems fit for summer)

I’m hoping to also reread To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee before picking up its sequel. I’m just not sure if that’ll happen in July or not.

What did you read in June? What do you hope to read in July?

Happy reading! – Caitlyn
