Booktubeathon TBR

I am not a Youtuber (or Booktuber), but I thought this seemed like a fun challenge to jump in on! (Here’s a video about everything you need to know, in case you aren’t familiar with this challenge!) My TBR is always and forever out of control, so since the goal is to read 7 books in 7 days, I figure this is a great chance for me to tackle my stack! You read from July 18-July 24!

The Booktubeathon challenges are:

1. Read a book with yellow on the cover.
2. Read a book only after sunset.
3. Read a book you discovered through booktube.
4. Read a book by one of your favorite authors.
5. Read a book that is older than you.
6. Read and watch a book-to-movie adaptation.
7. Read seven books.

Here are the books I’m going to try and read over the next week as well as the challenges they’ll qualify for:

A Reluctant Queen: The Love Story of EstherΒ by Joan Wolf (#1)

Wedding Night by Sohpie Kinsella (#2)

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (#3)

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen (#4)

Anne of Windy Poplars by L.M. Montgomery (#5)

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen (#6)

I have a lot going on this week, so I really don’t think I’ll make it through all these books. But I like having some mini-challenges to help motivate me! I’ll update you next week on how it all went.

Are you participating in Booktubeathon? Let me know what’s on your TBR in the comments below!

Happy reading! – Caitlyn

  1. I really like your challenge! I hope you like the Mara Dyer series (I know I did, it was awesome!), and I really wish I could participate, I’ve never really participated in a bookathon before, but I have ARCs waiting to be reviewed πŸ˜“and I have already started this book that seems like is going to take forever to finish 😭😩 Great post though!!
